Why do you want to have more time?
This might seem like an easy question with an obvious answer but when I ask my clients, they don’t always have a straightforward answer or if they do it isn’t that clear or defined.
My question to you is to find out more about why you want more time and what the benefits of getting more time will be.
Saying you want to spend more time with your family is great, but I have some questions that you might want to consider
• Why do you want to do this
• What are you going to be doing with the time
• Have you got a plan on when you want to do these things and by when
• What will your work look like because of this focus
If you want to have more time for yourself which helps you in your business/work role
• What does this look like?
• How do you want to feel when you have more time?
• What aspects can you stop to make this happen?
Being clear on some of these questions can help you have more time for yourself and the reason or what we like to say the ‘Why’
But what about sharing this with others can be so beneficial
How are you going to mark this and put this into action?
When I was asked this question, I wanted to make sure the time I have is used wisely when I am running a business, training to be a counsellor and also have done personal stuff. My ‘why’ is ensuring I have the energy to do the things I want to do without feeling like I need to rush around to do them.
Time is very precious and make sure you use the time how you want is so important. Being clear on your why and being clear on why you want more time is one of the best ways to get what you want with your time.
Go ahead and try answering the questions above.
